As the end of the holy month of Ramadan approaches, Progresif Sdn Bhd hosted a Sungkai gathering for 15 children from the Children’s Cancer Foundation YASKA Brunei and 15 orphans at The Chef Restaurant, Culinary School at Laksamana College of Business on March 29th, 2024.
The event aimed to spread joy and warmth among the community's children during that auspicious time. It began with a motivational talk, enriching the children and guardians with wisdom and inspiration on Ramadan and Hari Raya led by Ustaz Loqman Hamdan, followed by a recitation of Doa Tahlil.
Progresif presented each child with special Raya packets and gift packs containing an assortment of biscuits, snacks, and sweet treats to celebrate the upcoming Hari Raya celebration.
The guests at the event included the Senior Management Team of Progresif, led by Abdul Hakeem bin Haji Basir, Progresif’s Chief Administration Officer, and COO of LCB, Mr. S. Sivarajah. Tsara' Nawwarah Abdullah Chen, the president of YASKA, also graced the occasion with their presence.
