Progresif Sdn. Bhd. and At-Tamwil Berhad, subsidiary of Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD), entered into a partnership today with the joint signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) towards Consumer Product Financing when purchasing devices from the telco brand.
At a signing ceremony held at the Progresif Headquarters in Gadong, Haji Muhammad Said bin Haji Zania, Managing Director of At-Tamwil, and Hajah Nurul Haniah Binti Haji Jaafar, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Progresif, jointly inked an agreement of long-term collaboration that will earmark Progresif as their preferred local telco company for promotions.
Under the scheme, BIBD At-Tamwil will provide Consumer Product Financing (CPF) facilities to enable customers to purchase new mobile handsets, routers and other devices from Progresif, with the ability to pay in monthly instalments until the bill is settled. Moreover, for the first month of the new agreement, customers who apply for CPF will have the one-time processing fee of around BND60.00 waived.
Progresif CEO, Hajah Nurul Haniah, remarked that not only will customers of BIBD be able to apply for Consumer Product Financing through At-Tamwil, Progresif will be able to provide “on the spot approval of applications, providing added convenience to our customers”. “Our aim, the CEO continued, is to continue streamlining our procedures and promotions so that our customer-centric approach gives the customers the innovative buying experience we feel they deserve”.
The agreement and offer will come info effective by 30th October and customers will be able to head over to any Progresif stores or website, by end of the month to find out more. Offer ends 30th November.
