In embracing the spirit of the holy month, Progresif Sdn Bhd carried out a series of initiatives throughout Ramadan, centred on compassion, community and reflection. The month-long efforts brought together employees, partners and beneficiaries in meaningful ways, reflecting a shared commitment to giving back.
In the lead-up to the holy month, a cemetery clean-up volunteer initiative was organised, where employees contributed their time towards maintaining the cleanliness of burial grounds. The activity offered a quiet moment of reflection while nurturing the spirit of amal jariah in preparation for Ramadan.
As the month began, this sense of reflection continued within the organisation. In conjunction with Nuzul Al-Quran, a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony was held at Masjid Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit, bringing employees together in collective recitation. Thirty staff members participated in completing the reading of the Holy Quran, in a gathering that served as a reminder of its significance as a source of guidance, particularly during a month devoted not only to fasting, but also to self-reflection and renewal of faith.
Among the key community-focused initiatives was a donation drive organised Progresif’s annual ‘Gift From The Heart”, this year in collaboration with Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) Group of Companies. The drive supported 10 families in the Brunei-Muara District, with essential food supplies and household items provided to help ease their preparations for Ramadan and the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
Extending these efforts further, Progresif also hosted a sungkai gathering with children from Anak-Anak Yatim under Jabatan Pembangunan Masyarakat and YASKA, along with their families. Held in collaboration with Cyber Security Brunei, the gathering provided an opportunity to share the blessings of the holy month in a warm and inclusive setting, as families came together to break their fast.
Across these initiatives, a consistent thread of unity and compassion was evident—whether through supporting families in need, shared moments of prayer and recitation, or meaningful engagements with the community. These efforts reflect the values upheld during Ramadan, where generosity, empathy and a sense of responsibility towards others are deeply encouraged.
Through these initiatives, Progresif continues to contribute to the well-being of the community while embracing the spirit of togetherness that defines the holy month.
