Yesterday, Monday 2 March 2026, Progresif Sdn Bhd held a Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil recitation ceremony for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti AlMarhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman, the late parents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, and for Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim.
The ceremony took place at the Royal Mausoleum at Jalan Kubah Makam Diraja, Jalan Tutong, where Surah Yaasiin was read followed by a Tahlil recitation led by Progresif’s staff, Abdul Aziz Bin Dr. Haji Awang Asbol.
The event was attended by Progresif's Chairman, Mohammad Harris bin Brigadier Jeneral (B) Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Board Director Kamal Ariffin bin Pehin Dato Haji Ahmad, the senior management team, and Progresif Sdn Bhd employees, who gathered to pay their respects and honor the memory of the late royal family members.
