It was an afternoon filled with joy and excitement at the Plenary Hall Stage, International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas, as Progresif hosted the second cycle of its Big Win campaign prize draw on 15 August 2025. A total of 27 Progresif customers walked away with over BND $50,000 worth of prizes, including the highly anticipated grand cash prize of BND $15,000.
The Big Win campaign, launched in 2025, is a year-long initiative that gives back to both new and existing customers with over BND $300,000 worth of prizes across three quarterly draws. The first draw took place in May 2025, with the second held today, and the final grand draw scheduled for December 2025.
Progresif customers are automatically eligible for the prize draw when they perform any of the following actions: re-register their prepaid mobile plan, sign up or switch to a Progresif prepaid or postpaid mobile plan, upgrade their existing postpaid or home WiFi plan, or sign up or switch to a Progresif home WiFi plan. Each completed action earns entries into the draw, increasing their chances of winning.
Speaking at the event, Progresif CEO Hajah Nurul Haniah Hj Jaafar said, “This campaign has always been about more than just prizes. It’s about celebrating the real people behind our numbers, our customers. People who chose us, stayed with us, and trusted us to keep them connected. Today, seeing the smiles on your faces reminds us why we do what we do. Whether you’ve just joined us or have been with us for years, your support means everything.” The grand prize of BND $15,000 was awarded to Norita binti Othman, whose husband, Abdul Rashid bin Haji Abdul Hamid, shared his excitement: “I’ve been a Progresif user for seven years now. My wife — who actually won the BND $15,000 — just switched to Progresif this year. I’ve always told her it’s more affordable and you can use the savings to buy more data. She hasn’t found out she won yet, so I’m not sure what her plans are — but I know she’s going to be thrilled!”
Two BND $5,000 winners were also announced — Corina Tan Chui Peng and Noorezzati binti Awang Haji Abdul Rahman. Noorezzati shared her joy upon receiving the good news: “I’ve been with Progresif since my high school days. It’s always been reliable and easy to use, so I’ve stuck with it. I’m beyond happy to win this cash prize. When I entered, I told my mom to pray for me — and I promised her that if I won, I’d definitely treat her. Alhamdulillah, I’m going to make good on that promise.”
Three additional winners — Jia Chee Lee, Kong Fok Onn, and Junhemizan bin Juna — each walked away with BND $2,500.
