Feature Photographers Profile

DR. HANYROL H. SAH has spent almost 15 years in the biologically diverse rainforests of Borneo researching wildlife. She did her PhD in Biology at Universiti Brunei Darussalam where she studied the diversity, diets and larval stages of frogs. However, she has also been doing a lot of wildlife surveys and photography particularly on frogs, reptiles, birds, mammals, invertebrates and even plants. Hanyrol believes that proper photographic documentation of wildlife can benefit research which might subsequently aid the conservation management of Brunei’s biodiversity.

Joremy Anak Tony has been in the field since 2014 where he started as an intern for a research institute in sabah which led to a 7 year journey as a field biologist. He is very much involved with faunal research all over Brunei specializing in birds, frogs and mammals.

Awang Norsah bin Haji Kassim is a wildlife photographer since 2018. He is active in crossing parks across the country for bird watching and photography. Norsah was the first runner-up in the Brunei Bird Race Series 2019 organized by MIPR
